Do you suffer from greasy hair?









Why not try to cleanse the scalp and hair by using products that do not overstimulate the sebaceous glands. You may find it beneficial to apply a little Evening Primrose Shampoo to your hair prior to wetting the hair. Wet your hands with water, then put a small amount of Evening Primrose shampoo into your hands and work into a lather. 

Smear this over your hair and then work onto scalp. The reason for advising this procedure is that it will emulsify the grease and will allow the next application of shampoo to cleanse more efficiently. You should then shampoo twice to leave the hair free of any buildup of grease. It may also be advisable to rinse the hair on the first occasion with warm water, but the final rinse should be with cool/tepid water. 

After rinsing, remove excess water either by wrapping the hair in a towel or using a terry toweling turban. If you wish then to use a hair drier it may also be advisable to let the heat blow through your hair without using your fingers on the scalp, as this could over-stimulate the sebaceous glands. Do not use brushes for the same reason, but use a good quality comb.
