Does plucking, waxing, threading or sugaring affect hair growth?
The simple answer to this question is Yes.
Hair that is removed by plucking, waxing, threading or sugaring, grows back feeling softer because the hair is reformed within the hair follicle and is formed with a tapered fine soft point.
This type of hair removal affects the growth cycle, by removing hairs from within the hair follicle. The hair follicle then goes into the resting phase before reforming, hence the regrowth is delayed. Repeated remove over time makes the hair regrowth finer until eventually the hair follicle dies.
